When will my order be sent?
All orders are dispatched Monday – Thursday.
Orders can only be dispatched sameday if they have been received before 13:00. However it can take up to 48 hours for your order to arrive.
We do not dispatch livefoods or frozen foods on Fridays to avoid items being held in depots over the weekend, prolonged time in busy shipping depots increases the risk of damage to items and as these items are perishable in nature we have to keep transit time to a minimum.
So, frozen deliveries, will my order arrive frozen?
Orders sent via our dedicated frozen delivery service provided by TNT should always arrive frozen and before 12. If it doesn’t let us know and we can take further action on your behalf, please do take the time to check orders on delivery so you can advise the drivers of the condition especially if the order is delivered late.
– Note: Items delayed on alternative delivery services will not be replaceable if delivered thawed. Alternative courier methods are selected at your own risk. Although alternative couriers will not guarantee or accept any responsibilty for Frozen Foods we will ensure that all Frozen Food sent via this method is appropriately packaged in a fully insulated box with packing foam and dry ice to give it the best chance we can.
What about Livefoods?
Orders to Remote Areas
Orders to most areas can be guaranteed for a next day delivery, however some areas our couriers simply cannot guarantee this service. Deliveries to the Channel Islands, Scottish Islands, the Highlands and some remote areas are not guarnteed as a next day service. If you are ordering frozen food or livefood to these areas we advise placing your orders before 1pm on a Wednesday to guarantee they are received before the weekend. Deliveries to these areas are undertaken at the customers own risk, we cannot accept responsibility for orders which arrive defrosted where a guaranteed services was not used. Postcodes affect are:

Next Day Delivery available on AM services only*

*we have had some confusion over this, what is meant is that an order must be placed on an AM delivery service for it to arrive next day. If you use an AM delivery service the order may arrive anytime during the day until 18:00, as such if you are in one of these areas please do be aware that frozen food orders may have begun thawing. We generally do not recommend small frozen orders be sent if they cannot be guaranteed to arrive in the AM as they do defrost faster than bulk orders.
I won't be in to receive my delivery...
We must strongly recommend you send your delivery to an address you know someone will be available to receive it. We can send to family, work places or neighbours so long as you request this at the time the order is placed. If you must go out then you must leave a signed note for the courier in a prominent position. Please note that courier will not always follow these instructions, they leave parcels at their own discretion as ultimately they are responsible for the orders until they arrive.
Please note: If you will not be in for delivery of livefood or frozen then it cannot be left with a neighbour. These failed deliveries will then be returned to us. When they arrive back if they are defrosted or dead livefood then unfortunately you will be charged for this to be sent again along with the delivery charge for the failed delivery.
Livestock is couriered via a defra registered courier. The fee for this is £45 to most of the UK. £65 for Wales and Scotland. Livestock is excluded from the free delivery offer.
