Burmese Mountain Tortoise

Burmese Mountain Tortoises will grow to be about 2 feet (24 inches) in length and have life span of 60+ years. Burmese Mountain tortoises require humidity levels of between 65 to 90% which can be maintain through regular misting and a basking spot of 85 Fahrenheit (29 Celsius). The primary diet should consist of leafy greens such as mustard, turnip and collard green as well as fruits such as a melon and berries can be given. Burmese Mountain Tortoise will eat anything they come across in the wild, even insects and animal carcasses, so defrosted mice or soaked dry dog food can be given as a source of animal protein.
