Butterfly Agama Lizard

Butterfly Agama Lizards grow to be12-15 inches (30-38cm) with a life span of 8-10 years. Males are slightly bulkier than females and during the breeding session males will have bright red and black sides to them. They are insectivores so will eat insects such as locusts, mealworms and crickets, which should be regularly dusted in calcium D3 powder. Butterfly Agama Lizards require a basking spot of 35-37 Celsius (95-100 Fahrenheit), 10% UVB with humidity levels being kept to a minimum.
