Common Agama Lizard

Female Common Agama Lizards are tan in colour, males on the other hand are brightly coloured with a red head and blues, greens and blacks across their bodies. They grow to be around 14 inches (35cm) in length with an average life span of 10 years. Common Agama Lizards require a basking spot of 90 Fahrenheit (32 Celsius) with humidity levels kept to a minimum of 10-20%. These lizards are carnivores so will eat a variety of insects such as crickets, mealworm and cockroaches as well as an occasional defrosted pinkie mouse. A water bowl should always be provided and cleaned daily.
