Latin Name: Stenodactylus stenodactylus
Elegant Geckos grow to be 10cm (2-3 inches) in length, Males tend to be smaller and more slender than the females with a life span of 20-25 years. Humidity levels should be kept around 20-30% with temperatures of 28-30 Celsius (82-86 Fahrenheit). Elegant geckos will eat small insects such as crickets, locusts and mealworms. A shallow water bowl should be provided but Elegant geckos will also drink from water droplets that land on foliage and other surrounding surfaces from a light misting. Misting will also help maintain humidity levels.
