Green Basilisk

Green basilisks grow to be 90cm (36 inches) in length and has a life span of between 8 and 12 years. Males green basilisks are generally larger and have large fin type plumes on the head, running along the spine and down the tail. They are omnivores, meaning they will eat both insects such as crickets, locusts and cockroaches and fruits such as strawberries, mango and blackberries. Fruit can also be given in the form of Reptile supplies gecko diet, which comes in a wide variety of flavours. A water bowl should also be given as they not only drink from it but they will bathe in it to cool down and it will help loosen any shedding skin, therefore it will need to be big enough for them to fit themselves in comfortably. Green basilisks require a very warm basking area of 90-95 Fahrenheit (32-35 Celsius) with humidity levels of around 70%. They will also require 5% UVB, fed along side calcium +D3, this will ensure for healthy growth.
