Spotted Bush Snake


Latin Name: Philothamnus semivariegatus

Spotted bush snakes can get up to 35 inches (88cm) in length and have an average life span of 10 years. They are diurnal, active snakes and rely on the light for hunting. Spotted bush snakes like to bask and require a basking spot of around 32 Celsius (89 Fahrenheit) with humidity levels of between 50-60%, this will not only make for a happy, healthy snake but will also allow them to keep there vibrant colours. These snakes can be shy and nervous as well as being very quick so do not like to be handled or disturbed often.
